Today was the end. The end of one of the most eventful years of my life. Sitting here on my couch next to two of my sleeping siblings, I'm content. I'm ringing in my graduation year with not a bang, but a yawn. The minutes tick away, getting closer and closer to the big moment, but there's no feeling of loneliness or neglect. To my surprise I'm perfectly lonely. Mom came down and we watched the ball drop and the fireworks flare. On an unrelated note, I got my semi-formal dress in the mail today! On a much more related note-
Happy 2011!
My resolutions?1. Eat a little healthier.
2. Have a little more compassion for those I might not usually.
3. Find a little more understanding in the universe, as well as myself.
4. Spend more time with the people who mean the most to me.
5. Work the hardest and smartest I can to accomplish the goals I set, as well as help someone else accomplish their own.
Here's to the many laughs, the countless smiles, and the priceless moments with the ones who have a piece of your heart. Here's to health, life, and love.
"There is always some madness in love. But there is also always some reason in madness." -Friedrich Nietzsche
